Princess Eugenie Shares Never-Before-Seen Photos of Baby Adelaide One Month After Welcoming Her First Daughter

Princess Eugenie has given royal fans another glimpse of her growing family, sharing three previously unseen photographs of her baby daughter Adelaide to celebrate one month since her birth.

The new pictures appeared on Eugenie’s Instagram Stories and included particularly sweet moments between four-week-old Adelaide and her older brothers, August and Ernest.

The photographs quickly drew warm reactions online, with admirers celebrating the newest addition to Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank’s family.

“Such a lovely family,” one person wrote on X.

Another praised Eugenie in one of the images, writing: “Precious, precious picture, Princess Eugenie has never looked better than in this photograph; motherhood suits her.”

Adelaide is Eugenie and Jack’s third child

Eugenie and Jack welcomed Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank in Portugal on August 3.

Buckingham Palace formally confirmed her arrival shortly afterward.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal,” the Palace statement said.

Adelaide weighed 6 pounds 9 ounces.

The Palace added that King Charles, Queen Camilla and other members of the Royal Family were “delighted to be informed of the news.”

The birth made Eugenie a mother of three and gave August and Ernest their first sister.

Adelaide is currently 15th in the line of succession to the British throne.

The new pictures show Adelaide with her brothers

Two of the three photographs Eugenie shared to mark Adelaide’s first month feature the newborn alongside August and Ernest.

The images offered a rare look at the siblings together as Eugenie and Jack adjust to life as a family of five.

Eugenie has periodically shared glimpses of her family on social media, but the couple generally keeps much of their children’s daily lives private.

Eugenie is the younger daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson and was known to have a close relationship with her grandmother.

Adelaide’s arrival expanded the late Queen’s already large family and placed another of her descendants in the royal line of succession.

Eugenie has built much of her family life in Portugal

Adelaide’s birth in Lisbon also reflects the increasingly important role Portugal has played in Eugenie and Jack’s lives.

The family has divided its time between Britain and Portugal since relocating there in 2022.

Their Portuguese base is reportedly in CostaTerra on the Alentejo coast, between Comporta and Melides and approximately an hour south of Lisbon.

The exclusive coastal area has provided Eugenie, Jack and their children with a life largely removed from the daily attention surrounding senior members of the Royal Family in Britain.

They have nevertheless maintained their connections to the UK, with Eugenie also spending time at the family’s Kensington Palace cottage.

Eugenie and Jack’s relationship stretches back more than a decade

Eugenie and Jack first met during a skiing trip in Switzerland.

At the time, Eugenie was 20 and Jack was 24.

Their relationship continued for seven years before Jack proposed, and the couple married in October 2018 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.

They later welcomed August, followed by Ernest, before Adelaide completed their family of five in August 2026.

Although Eugenie remains part of the wider Royal Family, she and Jack have developed a life that moves between royal traditions and a comparatively private existence with their children.

A quiet milestone for the newest member of the family

There was no grand royal event surrounding Adelaide’s one-month milestone.

Instead, Eugenie marked it simply by sharing a few intimate family photographs.
