Season 4 of FOX’s wildly popular dating show, Farmer Wants A Wife has come to an end and we are glad to report that for now, all 3 farmers have found love. Consider this your warning that spoilers will follow. If you haven’t seen the episode yet. Pause now and save this for later.

The only farmer from the South, Brett Maverick of Tennessee, has fallen for Quinn from Idaho, while Farmer Braden of Illinois and Farmer Sean of California both ended up with Southern ladies. Braden chose Casey who is originally from Knoxville but currently lives in Nashville, and Sean chose Emily from Florida.

Southern Living spoke with all 3 happy couples to find out what they’ve been up to since filming wrapped seven months ago and they can now finally go on dates in public.

As Braden made his final decision, Casey’s close relationship with her family and her job in Tennessee was the main focus of their discussions. Braden wondered if she would truly be okay going the distance. Well, as it turns out, Casey told us that it hasn’t been a problem at all.

“It’s a 5 hour drive from Nashville and we’ve been doing it quite a bit. The longest we’ve been apart is about 2 weeks. So it’s really not been that tough.” She added that she thinks they’re “handling it pretty well and there are really no concerns anymore.”

And as for adjusting to a potential new life outside of the South, Casey told us that while she was born and raised in Knoxville, her family roots are actually in Illinois, just like Braden. Farmer Braden, he told us with a grin, “I would argue that everything south of Chicago, I really don’t see much difference from where I come from.”

The youngest couple with the most distance between them has already taken the most dramatic of leaps. Emily has already moved to California to be with her Farmer. As Sean explained to us, “Quite the interesting story on that one.” He explains how the pair stayed together after filming through Thanksgiving with his family in Newport Beach, but she had to return to Florida and to her job eventually. “We’d spend every day on the phone together. We were literally logging 15 hour call days in December,” Sean said.

He flew to see her at the end of December and as he shared, “We decided that we never wanted to spend 3 weeks apart again so I packed up my truck, helped her move into her new house in Georgia and lived with her for a few months and then we’ve been back and forth between Georgia and California and the farm…and now in the summer we decided to move to California full time. So we drove across the county and we’re back at the ranch living the farm life for the summer.”

Emily, a fifth generation Floridian who grew up just outside of Tampa, says she’s enjoyed getting to show Sean the Southeast and plans to continue introducing him to all of her favorite places. Of her new life in California she says, “I miss the Southern hospitality. I really enjoy how friendly people are, how real people are. But I’m just getting used to California and I told myself it’s a place I would never move but now that I’m here I’m slowly falling in love. And it definitely has its charms and beautiful things to see, and so many outdoor adventures to go on so we feel lucky honestly because we get the best of both worlds. My family is in Florida, his is out here so our ideal life, we’d be able to enjoy both sides of the country.”

Sean agrees and says he’s really enjoyed getting to explore the South with Emily. “It’s just such a wonderful place in the U.S. and it’s really so special. There’s really nothing like the South.”

Farmer Brett and Quinn

Farmer Brett of Savannah, Tennessee has fallen for Quinn from Buhl, Idaho and much like how their relationship blossomed on the show, the pair are taking things slow and steady, and with a lot of laughs. As Quinn told us, “Things are really good. We have fun. He’s out here more than he’s not.”

Brett added, “We’re just taking it as it comes. We’re trying to do it the right way and not jump into something… We’re pretty practical with what we’re doing. Quinn is considering going back to nursing school, which will be amazing. So we’re just kind of taking it week by week, month by month and letting it develop naturally.”

Quinn is still working full time back home so the new couple are navigating that but Quinn insists that “moving isn’t out of the cards. I personally would never move somewhere for somebody right out of the gate, and I don’t want him to be the only person I have in Tennessee. That’s just not good grounds for a healthy development, in my opinion. But we know that we love to be around each other and we’re growing every day.”
