One of the most well-known athletes competing in the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics may be Jutta Leerdam. Following yet another injury, Lindsey Vonn’s focus has switched, and Leerdam is now the main attraction.
Since her arrival, the 27-year-old, who has taken center stage in Milan, has been the focus of much conversation. When she realized her Olympic ambition in front of a crowded Milano Speed Skating Stadium, she was filled with emotion.
Jake Paul was brought to tears by Leerdam’s gold-medal finish on Monday. Leerdam’s Olympics triumph comes nearly a year after Paul popped the question.

The speed-skating star is fresh off being labeled a “diva” after flying to the Winter Games aboard a private jet. She was expected to travel with her Dutch teammates. Lerdam silenced all of her critics.
Now, social media is giving Jutta Leerdam even more praise, but it has nothing to do with her talent or accomplishments.

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games have brought together the top athletes from across the globe to compete for medals. Nearly 350 medals are expected to be given during this year’s competitions.
Just days into the competition, Jutta Leerdam already has one of them, a Gold medal. One day before she would win, a video of her at practice in her uniform would go viral.
The video, captioned “Dutch perfection,” showed the speed skater on the ice.
How social media reacted:
“Jake Paul gets to snuggle with her ffs Lucky man,” one person said.
