Holly Willoughby shared a video of her asking her 15-year-old daughter Belle for help ahead of her YouTube channel launch. The former ITV star is set to return to the limelight with Together, a new show posted to the social media platform in a move away from TV.
On her way to the press launch, Holly filmed a little video of herself in the back of a taxi. Though her daughter, Belle, couldn’t be seen in the video, her voice could be heard coming in from off camera, making it a rare appearance for the girl on her mums socials.
In the video, Holly told her fans that she was going to be sharing a trailer for the show on her YouTube channel. “Hello, hello, I’m heading over to the press launch of the new show, Holly Willoughby: Together.

“It’s the launch, I’m very excited because this is the first time anybody is going to get to see the trailer. Today’s the day. What I’m going to do is I’m going to put the trailer so you guys get to see it, over on the YouTube channel. First time I’ve said that, tomorrow, so that’s Tuesday.”
She then revealed that, despite having her new show on YouTube, she was looking to her daughter for help with getting things running. “I’m not quite sure when it’s going to go on there, so I think, and I’m looking at my daughter here now because this is all new territory, but if you head on over there, search it, Holly Willoughby Together YouTube, go and subscribe.”
She turned to Belle, who was in the car with her and said: “Then I think you press the bell thing which gives you a notification when something drops, is that right? Stop laughing! You press the bell, don’t you, Belle?”
According to Holly, Belle is the reason she’s doing her new show on the platform rather than taking it to terrestrial TV, as her daughter is part of a generation that would rather watch YouTube than the telly.

Holly is self-funding her new project, which will see her interview celebrities. It is set to launch on 28 July and videos will be posted twice a week and is comprised of five sections: Talk Together, Cook Together, Look Good Together, Better Together and Hang Out Together.
Together is a family affair, as her husband Dan Baldwin’s production company, Hungry Bear, are working with her. The company is also behind shows such as Gladiators and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
The show is being sponsored by weight-loss medication, Voy. It’s an unusual move for the star who has repeatedly refused to discuss weight loss or diets throughout her 20 year career. George Pallis, Founder and CEO at Voy, is adamant that Holly’s new show is “genuinely aligned” with the company and what they “believe.”
In 2019 Holly explained how she “deliberately” didn’t discuss hers or anyone else’s weight loss because people get “obsessed” and that the parents of children with eating disorders had told her that society’s “fascination” with weight made things harder for them.
She said: “I don’t think it’s helpful to the conversation, for women generally. As long as you are healthy and happy, that’s really all that matters… It’s not up to me to give you a blow-by-blow account of what I’ve eaten that day. It’s not helpful, and it’s not what’s important.”
