Harry And Meghan’s Children Face New School Rules As Families In Their Area Are Reportedly Warned Ahead Of New Term

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, are reportedly preparing to begin classes as the new school year gets underway, following the Sussex family’s recent move back to Britain.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are understood to have relocated from the United States to Britain and are reportedly staying at a non-royal property in the Cotswolds.

Their return has now brought fresh attention to the children’s education, with royal commentator Kinsey Schofield claiming that families in the area have been warned about additional rules concerning high-profile pupils.

According to Schofield, school officials contacted local parents and carers with guidance about privacy and the presence of children who may attract increased public attention.

Speaking to Page Six, Schofield said the message sent to families explained that some pupils joining the school could bring a heightened level of media or public interest.

“The message sent to families essentially said that, from time to time, some families joining the school may attract a greater level of public or media interest,” she said.

The communication reportedly stressed that schools want every child to experience school in an environment that is safe, happy and private.

Parents and carers were also reminded about photographing and filming other children.

Schofield said families were asked not to take photographs or videos of other pupils without permission and not to post photographs, personal information or details about children or their families on social media.

The reported guidance has drawn attention because of the heightened interest that has surrounded Harry and Meghan since their departure from royal duties and subsequent move to the United States.

However, the exact school Archie and Lilibet may attend has not been disclosed.

Schofield also claimed that the Sussexes had looked at a number of options before settling on their new arrangements.

According to a source cited by the royal commentator, Harry and Meghan “approached multiple schools” ahead of their move.
