Riley Green Calls 15-Year-Old Allie Rae a ‘Mini Reba’ After Her Fierce Lainey Wilson Cover on The Voice — But Her Future Takes an Unexpected Turn

Fifteen-year-old Allie Rae delivered another impressive performance on The Voice Season 30, earning glowing praise from country star Riley Green and fellow coach Kelly Clarkson.
During the November 3 episode, the young singer performed Lainey Wilson’s 4x4xU, showing the confidence and vocal ability that had made her one of Team Riley’s standout contestants.
Green was so impressed that he compared her to country music legend Reba McEntire. However, despite the compliments, Allie’s journey through the competition took a disappointing turn.
Allie Rae Has Impressed Riley Green Since Her Blind Audition
Allie first captured the coaches’ attention during the Blind Auditions with her rendition of Alannah Myles’ Black Velvet.

Green turned his chair almost immediately, followed by Clarkson and Queen Latifah.
Determined to secure the teenager for his team, Green activated the show’s new First In button, which overrode the other coaches’ interest and automatically placed Allie on Team Riley.
She continued to impress during the Battles, facing Harmony McKee in an energetic performance of Miranda Lambert’s Mama’s Broken Heart.
Green described their duet as one of his favorite battles of the season.
Allie ultimately won the matchup, advancing to the newly introduced Cut Week.
Her Lainey Wilson Performance Earned a Huge Compliment

Cut Week replaced the traditional Knockouts and Playoffs, introducing a dramatic elimination process ahead of the live shows.
At the beginning of the November 3 episode, each coach selected two contestants to advance automatically.
Green saved Cade Mower and sister duo Ferryn & Brinkley, leaving five remaining singers competing for his final available spot.
Those contestants were Allie Rae, Kayleigh Mathews, Joe Henley, Everett Bounds and Keiyana Osmond.
Allie chose Lainey Wilson’s 4x4xU for her performance, delivering an energetic rendition that ended with a powerful vocal moment.
Clarkson was particularly impressed by the teenager’s maturity and talent.
“You are 15 years old, that is CRAZY,” Clarkson told her, adding that Allie was already remarkably advanced for her age.
Green offered equally enthusiastic praise.
“I loved it, everything about it was great, like a little mini Reba,” he said.
He also described Allie as fierce and praised the performance as the best version of her he had seen.
Riley Green Makes a Difficult Decision

Despite Allie’s strong showing, Green ultimately selected Joe Henley as the third contestant advancing from his team to the live shows.
The decision meant Allie was eliminated during Cut Week, joining 15 other contestants whose journeys had been interrupted.
However, her departure might not be permanent.
Season 30 introduced an opportunity for viewers to vote one eliminated contestant back into the competition.
The singer receiving the most votes from the group of 16 would return for the live shows, expanding the lineup to the Top 13.
That possibility left Allie with a potential route back into the competition despite Green’s decision.
At just 15, she had already earned praise from multiple coaches, won a Battle and received a memorable comparison to one of country music’s most celebrated performers.
Whether or not Allie Rae earns a second chance on The Voice, her performances have demonstrated why Riley Green was so determined to recruit her in the first place.
