Riley Green Finally Confirms His Relationship Status After Romance Rumors Involving Ella Langley and Megan Moroney

Country music star Riley Green has finally given a straightforward answer about his love life after years of speculation linking him to several familiar names in the industry.
During an appearance on CBS Mornings, the 37-year-old singer was asked whether he was single. His response was just one word: “Yeah.”
Green has never been publicly married, despite persistent rumors involving fellow country singers Ella Langley and Megan Moroney.
While his romantic life continues to attract attention, the Alabama native has suggested that his demanding career is the biggest obstacle to settling down.
Riley Green Addresses His Relationship Status
Green’s confirmation came during an August 10 television appearance, putting his current relationship status on the record.
His most publicly documented relationship was with music executive Sophia Sansone, who appeared alongside him at the 2022 CMT Awards.
Sansone later revealed that they had dated on and off for approximately three years.

Since then, Green has been linked to several women, although none of those rumored relationships has been publicly confirmed.
In November 2025, he attended the CMA Awards with social media influencer Bryana Ferringer. When speculation followed, Green explained that she was simply a friend.
The pair were subsequently spotted at a basketball game, but neither announced a romantic relationship.
Green has previously joked that social media seems to decide who he is dating on a weekly basis.
The Truth Behind His Rumored Romance With Ella Langley

One of Green’s most discussed relationships involves fellow country star Ella Langley.
Their chemistry on the hit duet “You Look Like You Love Me” sparked widespread speculation that their musical partnership extended beyond the stage.
Their second collaboration, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” only intensified those rumors.
However, Langley has publicly described Green as a friend, and both artists have maintained that they never dated.
Speaking on Country Nights With Bev Rainey, Green explained why their performances may have encouraged speculation.
“Me and Ella have two giant songs together, and I think fans want to believe that what you’re singing about is real,” he said.
Their convincing musical chemistry, he suggested, had created a romantic narrative that did not reflect their actual relationship.
Megan Moroney Rumors Intensify Following New Songs

Green’s rumored connection with Megan Moroney has generated similar attention.
Speculation began after the two appeared to be vacationing in St. Barts around the same time in December 2024.
Moroney subsequently explained that Green had been there with his own friends and that spending time together did not necessarily mean they were dating.
The rumors resurfaced following the release of Moroney’s album Cloud 9 in February 2026.
Listeners focused particularly on the song “Who Hurt You,” which includes a reference to someone crossing from Georgia into Alabama.
Because Moroney is from Georgia and Green is from Alabama, some interpreted the lyric as a possible reference to him.
On the same day the album arrived, Green shared an unreleased song about an unnamed former partner who disliked his lifestyle.
The timing fueled speculation, although Green never identified the person who inspired his lyrics.
Neither artist has confirmed that they were romantically involved or that the songs were written about each other.
Why Riley Green Says He Hasn’t Settled Down

Despite his single status, Green has made it clear that marriage and family remain important goals.
The difficulty, he says, is finding time for a serious relationship while maintaining his busy professional schedule.
During an appearance on Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast, Green admitted that meeting someone can be difficult because of his career and public profile.
He also explained that he generally avoids bars because he dislikes becoming the centre of attention when he is trying to enjoy his personal time.
Green has imagined a future in which his touring commitments decrease to approximately 40 to 60 shows annually, allowing more room for a relationship and family life.
His schedule has only grown busier, however, with new music, acting opportunities and television commitments.
Speaking previously to Billboard, Green acknowledged that he frequently thinks about starting a family but believes his lifestyle must become more manageable first.
“It’s definitely something I’d like to do,” he said of marriage, adding that such a major life change could also influence his songwriting.
For now, Green remains single, and his busy career continues to take priority. But despite the persistent dating rumors, he has not ruled out marriage or starting a family when the timing feels right.
