The Voice Season 30 Smashes a Streaming Record as Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Riley Green and Queen Latifah Fuel a Huge Ratings Surge

Thirty seasons in, The Voice is showing little sign of slowing down. The new season has delivered the show’s biggest premiere audience in several cycles, shattered its own streaming record and generated hundreds of millions of social video views — just as Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine return alongside first-time coaches Riley Green and Queen Latifah.
Season 30 of The Voice is off to a huge start.
The NBC singing competition’s premiere reached 7.8 million viewers during its first seven days of availability, combining those who watched on NBC with viewers who streamed the episode later on Peacock.
That makes it the show’s largest opening audience since Season 27, which aired in spring 2025.
Compared with the Season 28 premiere, the new season’s seven-day audience increased by five percent.
But one of the biggest numbers came from streaming.
The Voice Just Set a New Streaming Record

During its first three days of availability, the Season 30 premiere recorded a 57 percent increase compared with last year.
It also became the most-streamed episode of The Voice ever.
The numbers become even more striking when overall reach is considered.
More than 19 million people watched at least part of the premiere across platforms.
Social media added another enormous audience.
Videos connected to the show generated approximately 337 million views in five days, giving Season 30 significant momentum beyond the traditional television broadcast.
And the new coaching lineup may be helping generate some of that attention.
Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine Are Back

Season 30 brought two familiar faces back into the coaches’ chairs.
Kelly Clarkson returned after previously building a reputation as one of the competition’s most successful and popular coaches.
Adam Levine, one of the show’s original coaches, is also back.
But this season’s panel includes two newcomers who bring very different backgrounds to the competition.
Country star Riley Green is making his first appearance as a coach, while actress, rapper and singer Queen Latifah has also joined the panel.
The combination has already created some memorable battles during the Blind Auditions, particularly as the coaches compete to fill the limited spaces on their teams.
The Blind Auditions Are Only the Beginning

Season 30 is currently progressing through its Blind Audition phase, where the coaches select the artists who will make up their respective teams.
Once those teams are established, the competition moves into the Battle Round.
Each coach will work alongside a celebrity Battle Advisor, pairing two of their singers together and assigning them a song to perform.
The coach will then decide which artist advances.
But losing a Battle won’t necessarily mean going home.
All four coaches will have one Steal available, giving them an opportunity to rescue an artist eliminated by another coach.
This season also introduces a major new stage that promises to make the competition even more ruthless.
Cut Week Will Deliver the Show’s Biggest Elimination
Season 30 will feature a new format called Cut Week.
And the stakes will be enormous.
The round is expected to produce the biggest elimination in The Voice history.
Each coach will choose two artists to advance directly to the Live Shows.
The remaining five hopefuls on each team will be forced to compete for just one additional place.
That means established team members who have already survived multiple stages of the competition could suddenly find their entire season depending on one performance.
Eventually, the field will be narrowed to a Top 12.
But viewers will have an opportunity to change that lineup.
America Gets One More Artist Into the Lives
Once the Top 12 has been determined, America will vote one additional singer into the Live Shows.
Voting will take place through texting and TikTok, with the result revealed that same night.
That will create a Top 13 heading into the final phase of the season.
The Lives will unfold across six weeks, with viewers at home voting for their favorite artists as contestants are progressively eliminated.
The singer receiving the fewest votes will leave the competition, while the artist who survives all the way to the end with the strongest support will be crowned the Season 30 winner.
Season 30 Is Already Making History
There is still a long road ahead before a winner is crowned, but Season 30 has already achieved something significant.
After three decades of coaches turning chairs, team battles and viewer voting, The Voice has produced its most-streamed episode ever.
The premiere’s 7.8 million seven-day audience, 19 million-plus overall reach and 337 million social video views also suggest viewers remain deeply invested in the format.
And with Clarkson and Levine returning, Green and Queen Latifah experiencing the competition from the coaches’ chairs for the first time, and a record-setting elimination still ahead, the biggest shake-up may not have happened yet.
Thirty seasons after The Voice first began turning chairs, its newest premiere has broken the show’s streaming record — and with the Blind Auditions only the opening act, Season 30 still has its most brutal round waiting in the wings.
