An ‘amazing’ new true crime documentary has been released and fans cannot get enough of it
A mind-blowing true crime documentary has finally landed on streaming and fans are already obsessed.
After excitement has been building over the last few weeks, Murder 101 has finally landed on Prime Video this week, premiering on the streaming platform on July 13.
Adapted from the hit podcast of the same name, it centres on a high school sociology class in America who were given a unique task by their teacher.
Taking viewers back to 2018, the class were asked to delve into a decades old cold case, with teacher Alex Campbell challenging his students to investigate the Redhead Murders from the 1980s.

The Redhead Murders relates to a series of unsolved homicides of redheaded females, believed to have been committed by an unidentified serial killer.
In Murder 101, the students uncovered horrific truths as they successfully linked several brutal murders to one suspect.
An official synopsis reads: “From the creative teams behind the eponymous podcast and Marvel’s Spider-Man Trilogy comes a revolutionary docuseries.
“Part teen drama, part masterclass, and part edge-of-your-seat crime investigation, MURDER 101 follows a high school sociology class in rural Tennessee who help revive a decades-old case into a present-day hunt for a killer.”
Spanning across three episodes, Murder 101 is available to binge watch in one go and viewers have been floored.
Taking to TikTok, one true crime fan admitted: “It looks like one of the most interesting premises that I’ve seen for so long and we watch a lot of true crime around here so that’s saying something.”
They added: “It looks like it’s going to be an absolutely incredible watch.” One person replied: “That’s me not sleeping tonight because I’ll be awake binge watching this.”
In another video, another fan said it was an “insane new true crime doc”, adding: “You need to go and add this to your watch list because I guarantee you’ve never even heard of this case.”
One person commented: “OMG watched this today soooooooo good.” Another replied: “Absolutely AMAZING SERIES!! WE NEED…. NEED… NEED MORE MR CAMPBELL’S EVERYWHERE!”
A third wrote: “Just binged the whole thing in one night the last episode made me sob.” A fourth agreed: “I started watching this today!! Fascinating.”
Another true crime fan in their own video admitted the series “blew me away” as viewers confessed they could not stop watchiung.
Over on X, another said: “Watching #Murder101 on Prime. I normally don’t watch stuff like this but it has my full attention.”
