GARY LINEKER DELIVERS BRUTAL JIM RATCLIFFE VERDICT — ‘GLAZERS FOUND SOMEONE EVEN WORSE THAN THEM’

Gary Lineker has delivered a stunning attack on Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, claiming the Glazer family have somehow found “someone even worse than them” to take the heat at Old Trafford.

Speaking on The Rest is Football, the former England striker said he sees “problems coming down from the top” at United and described Ratcliffe as “not a particularly pleasant human being.”

His comments come after another turbulent weekend for the club, with United held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham despite their opponents entering the game at the bottom of the Premier League.

Lineker also pointed to the growing concerns around the club’s infrastructure, inconsistent results and the reported situation involving 15-year-old academy prospect JJ Gabriel.

But it was his extraordinary comparison with the Glazers that instantly stood out.

“I must congratulate the Glazers on finding someone even worse than them,” Lineker said, accusing the former owners of successfully deflecting criticism onto Ratcliffe.

He added that United had become “a bit of a shambles” and argued that the problems were coming from the very top of the club.

Ratcliffe has also faced fresh criticism away from football after making controversial comments about immigration and welfare in the UK. Manchester United’s Muslim Supporters’ Club subsequently called for him to leave the club.

Lineker also questioned whether Ratcliffe would apologise for his remarks, while highlighting his Monaco residence and his position as a Manchester United owner whose squad includes players from around the world.

For United supporters already frustrated by results and the direction of the club, Lineker’s latest intervention adds another explosive voice to an increasingly uncomfortable debate around the ownership.
