Block out your weekend because Jennifer Garner’s new miniseries, The Five Star Weekend, is now available to stream on Peacock and if you’re still feeling an And Just Like That hole in your life, this is sure to fill it.

Jennifer Garner stars as Hollis Shaw, a famed cook and bestselling author journeying through devastating grief, relationships and life. In a bid to navigate the new normal of her life, she decides to host a girl’s getaway trip to her vacation home in Nantucket, inviting three friends from different stages of her life; her childhood friend Tatum (Chloe Sevigny), college bestie Dru-Ann (Regina Hall) and mom friend Brooke (D’Arcy Carden). The gang is joined by Gigi (Gemma Chan), a social media follower of Hollis who somehow ends up joining the girls.

Along with the star-studded cast, the aesthetics of this show are a Pinterest dream; the affluent New England, quiet luxury interiors, beach backdrop and the Coastal Grandmother meets Summer House fashion.

It’s all thanks to famed costume designer Susie DeSanto, who is known for bringing that Nantucket coastal style to life, and interestingly, has worked with Jennifer Garner on numerous projects (including 13 Going On 30!)

In an Instagram post, Jennifer paid tribute to Susie’s work: “The Costume Designer is the first to put paint to the canvas of a role; actors rely on their interpretation to bring a character to life from the outside, in. Thank you for being my partner in threads all these years.”

The Five Star Weekend, adapted from the novel by Elin Hilderbrand (you can buy the book on Amazon), has already garnered rave reviews, and I for one am loving the series – including the outfits Jennifer Garner’s character Hollis wears. I could totally see some of her gingham dresses, floral dresses and striped shirts fitting into my own wardrobe.

This is one of my favorite looks of Hollis’ – a bubblegum pink floral dress. What’s not to love?! Hers is from Clay & Cai, but I found the best lookalike at Gina Bacconi, costing only $280. I also love Boden’s Pleat V-Neck Dress ($239) as it has a similar look.

Hollis Shaw’s Gingham Dress

During the first episode, I gasped at this stunning gingham dress – even Princess Kate loves one, and Hollis has chosen such a beautiful muted version.

Hollis wears the SIMKHAI Kittiya Midi Dress, and it’s very popular – it keeps selling out on SAKS and Revolve, but check back incase your size comes into stock. I like the Reformation Balia Dress as an alternative.

How chic is this poolside outfit? The stripe swimsuit, the oversized button-down, it’s screaming luxury vacation.
