Prince Harry has finally faced the question that has followed his family since their surprise return to Britain — but his response has done little to end the speculation.

Harry, Meghan Markle and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are understood to have settled in the Cotswolds after returning to the UK six years after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties and moved to the United States.

During an interview with CTV News, Harry was asked what had persuaded his family to return to Britain.

‘The Kids Are Happy in School’

Asked how the move had been going, Harry offered an upbeat assessment.

“It’s been great. It’s been great to be back on British soil,” he said.

He also provided a rare update about Archie and Lilibet.

“The kids are happy in school,” Harry said.

The move is also allowing him to focus more closely on preparations for the Invictus Games, which are due to take place in Birmingham next July.

For Harry, that appears to be one practical benefit of being based in Britain again.

But his refusal to expand on the wider reasons behind the decision ensures questions surrounding the Sussexes’ return are unlikely to disappear.

Harry Was in Canada for a Personal Commitment

Harry made the comments during a visit to Toronto, where his attention was focused on supporting two veteran charities.

The trip also allowed him to fulfil a promise he had made to a 102-year-old former paratrooper the previous year.

Harry spoke warmly about Canada during the interview, describing the country as holding a particularly important place in his life.

“I love Canada,” he said.

“Most people thought that she was Canadian,” Harry joked.
