Bridgerton season five is officially in production, and fans are desperate for info on the fan favorite period piece from Netflix.

Well, the good news is, we already know that season five will be landing on the streaming service in 2027.

The fifth season of Bridgerton spotlights introverted middle daughter Francesca (Hannah Dodd). Two years after losing her beloved husband John, Fran decides to reenter the marriage mart for practical reasons. But when John’s cousin Michaela (Masali Baduza) returns to London to tend to the Kilmartin estate, Fran’s complicated feelings will have her questioning whether to stick to her pragmatic intentions or pursue her inner passions.

While Netflix has not officially confirmed the full season five cast list, we actually have gathered up every known bit of info from cast interviews, sleuthing, and more.

We do know that there will likely be one major cast exit, while thankfully many stars are confirmed to return. We’re also making some educated guesses about who should be back.

Hannah Dodd as Francesca Bridgerton – Returning

Francesca is the lead for season 5!

We expect to see Hannah Dodd in every episode of the upcoming season as her love story with Michaela blossoms.

Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling – Returning

We expect to a lot more of Masali Baduza going forward! Michaela Stirling is Francesca’s new love interest for season five, so she will be heavily featured.

Gemma Knight Jones will play the role of Lady Elizabeth Ashworth. Elizabeth is an old friend of Michaela’s who serves as her confidante and London guide. Beneath Elizabeth’s playful charm lies a grounded realist who is wise to the unspoken rules of society.

Ruth Gemmell as Lady Violet Bridgerton – Returning

The matriarch of the Bridgerton household will obviously be back. At the end of season four, she made it clear that she wanted to live her life to the fullest and not yet become a wife again. We expect to see this explored more in season 5.

Golda Rosheuvel as Queen Charlotte – Returning

It would be shocking if the Queen were not to return for Bridgerton season 5. Being such a huge part of society, and having the impact she has, we’re predicting that she will be returning for the show’s fifth season.

Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury – Returning

Many believed Lady Danbury might be exiting the show for good, with news of her decision to leave London to travel.

Showrunner Jess Brownell confirmed to The Wrap that she’s actually a “big part of Season 5, when she does eventually come back.”
