The Prince and Princess of Wales have been happily married for 15 years, and their bond remains strong for one reason, claims expert.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been happily married for 15 years and according to a royal expert, there is a reason why. Prince William married Princess Catherine at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, and the big day was watched by millions of people worldwide.
Since then, the couple, who are the most popular working royals, have welcomed three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. They have also navigated challenging times together, including the princess’s cancer diagnosis in 2024. Catherine is now in remission. Now, a royal expert has weighed in on William and Catherine’s unbreakable bond and pinpointed the one thing that keeps them so united.

The Mirror’s royal editor, Russell Myers, told OK! Magazine: “The secret to the Prince and Princess of Wales’s marriage is support for one another throughout their roles as working royals and as parents to their three young children.”
He added: “Everything they do is in tandem and this includes Catherine being the catalyst for William launching the Earthshot Prize, when he doubted it could become the global success it has.”
During the state banquet hosted for the French president, Emmanuel Macron, in 2025, the couple’s bond was especially evident.
Body language expert Darren Stanton said at the time on behalf of Betfair Casino : “There were some great shots of [Catherine] and William interacting.
“It’s apparent they’ve got a fantastic marriage, relationship and deep respect for each other.
“The official portrait of them together shows them at the ultimate epitome of their relationship. They’re extremely tight and continue to have an even stronger bond.”
