Victoria Beckham has reflected on the World Cup after becoming an instant viral meme in an ‘iconic Posh’ moment.

The fashion designer, 52, has been watching the games co-hosted by the US, Canada and Mexico, with her former footballer husband David, 51, over the past month.

Daughter Harper, 15, and their two youngest sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, have also been spotted with them.

Meanwhile, their son Brooklyn, 27, has been absent from Beckham gatherings since Christmas 2024.

On Sunday, Spain lifted the trophy in the final match against Argentina after a deserved 1-0 victory.

Victoria, who missed Spice Girls Mel C’s wedding over the weekend, took to her Instagram stories with a sweet snap of her and David at the game.

Ever the doting wife, Victoria ensured she attended every game she could, but confessed she didn’t enjoy the sport because she didn’t feel ‘wanted’ when she was pitch side.

However, in recent years Victoria has had a change of heart after David retired and set up his own club Inter Miami.

Victoria told the Financial Times in 2024: ‘I never enjoyed watching football. I never felt necessarily wanted [at the matches]. I’m not saying this as in, poor me, but it was never the fun that it is now.

‘Now, when we’re in Miami, I feel wanted. I’m friends with the families of the players.’
