HOLLY Willoughby’s big budget new YouTube show has flopped after only 35,000 viewers tuned in on the first day.
The 45-year-old first announced her lifestyle channel, Holly Willoughby Together earlier this month as she made her big comeback as a presenter.
The first episode premiered yesterday and featured The Devil Wears Prada actor and Hollywood icon Stanley Tucci.
The longtime pals were seen drinking wine and beer while cooking Stanley’s signature Italian zucchini dish.
However, at the time of writing, the episode has only garnered 35,000 views in 24 hours.
Her current subscribers stand at 10.8K, which is up 2,000 after yesterday’s launch.
This is a stark difference to the millions of viewers who would tune in to watch Holly on shows including Dancing On Ice, This Morning and Celebrity Juice.
Her first episode saw her drop an F-bomb in the first few seconds of the instalment, something she wasn’t allowed to do when hosting daytime television.
When told that Stanley would like a beer rather than wine, Holly remarked: “Oh he wants a beer? I f***ing love that man.”
One aspect that was still intact from her This Morning days was her cheeky innuendos as one moment saw Holly cheekily discuss the size of the courgettes that Stanley was using.
Another moment saw Holly chuck some spaghetti at the wall to check if it was cooked properly, before Stanley told her that if it sticks it means it’s actually over-cooked, leaving the host stunned.
Upcoming instalments will see Holly joined by pop star pals Nicole Appleton and Emma Bunton, as well as comics Katherine Ryan and Joanne McNally.
Holly shared a preview of the episodes last week as she was seen saying that she “feels like she’s on OnlyFans”.
In the first-look, she showed off her bubbly personality while presenting about fashion, makeup and food.
One hilarious moment that was included was Holly making some sausages from scratch – and it appeared to be going wrong.
She said: “Oh no! Motherf**ker!”
Looking into the camera she added: “I feel like I am on OnlyFans!”
In another clip, a guest joked: “She doesn’t give a s**t! She’ll take her clothes on in front of anyone.”
Holly appears from behind a privacy screen and added: “That’s me!”
She captioned the post: “Here is a sneak preview of the series trailer for my brand new show @hollywilloughbytogether, click the link in the bio to watch it and subscribe.”
Together was described by her team as “a natural extension of the Holly that audiences know” but in a dig suggesting that traditional telly is falling out of fashion, they added they’re going “on the platforms they are consuming their content”.
Holly will no doubt want to emulate the success of Ant and Dec, who began their own YouTube career with Belta Box earlier this year.
The Geordie duo have amassed over 745,000 subscribers so there’s plenty of time for Holly to up her numbers with the coming episodes.
