Bl0.0.d Was Everywhere… But The Shocking Video Captured Something Even More Disturbing. Love Island Star Jack Fincham Was Left Covered In Blood After Doctors Were Forced To Stop His Bare – Knuckle Clash With Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers Just Minutes Into The Fight. The Brutal Contest Came To An Abrupt End As Medical Staff Rushed In, With Stunned Spectators Watching The Dramatic Scenes Unfold. But It’s The Exact Moment Shown In The Viral Footage – Just Seconds Before The Referee Intervened – That Has Left Fans Replaying The Clip Over And Over.

Love Island’s Jack Fincham was left bruised and covered in blood after taking on Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers in a bare knuckle boxing match.

Within moments of the fight starting on Saturday night, the reality star was struck in the head by Aaron, with a large gash opening up above his eye.

Doctors attempted to stem the bleeding but failed, resulting in a technical knockout in the first round.

After fans expressed their concern, Jack broke his silence in an Instagram post on Sunday as he referenced how far he’s come since seeking treatment for drink and drug addiction.

He penned: ‘Not the result I wanted last night. The fight was stopped on a cut, and that’s bare knuckle for ya out my hands. No excuses.

‘Fair play to Aaron. Strong, tough and exactly what I expected. I wish him nothing but the best moving forward.’

Jack continued: ‘This was my first fight since rehab. A few months ago I wasn’t even sure I’d ever walk to a ring again.

‘To walk out in my hometown, under the lights, on a @bkbbareknuckle show meant more to me than most people will ever know.

‘It takes a pair of b*****s to step into that Trigon, and I’m proud I had the courage to do it.

‘Thank you to @bkbbareknuckle for giving me that opportunity. I truly hope this is just the beginning of my journey with BKB.’

Aaron was quick to respond, commenting: ‘Keep your head brother up the fight was warming up to be a cracker, but unfortunately the cut was in a bad place, so was mine, back on the big stage after being a low point is an achievement in itself…

‘Rest up and go again you belong on that big stage and be nice to be on a card together down the line not punching each others heads off.’

Jack responded: ‘ah mate it was a pleasure as always I was just saying the same thing this morning was warming up to be a blinder just an unfortunate cut.

‘Wanna go get a win under my belt and I reckon a trilogy it’s become our thing. No well done mate and hopefully we will do it again at some point have a good weekend brother x’.

The match was Jack’s first since he fought retired mixed martial artist Aaron previously in September last year, losing as a result of a technical knockout after two rounds.

In April he teased a return to the ring as he claimed his ‘comeback is pending’.

Sharing a life update, Jack posed for a photo during a shopping trip.

Alongside the picture, her wrote: ‘Recovery ain’t easy, I’m not gonna pretend it is, some days I’m on it, some days I’m just trying to get through.

‘You lose people you love along the way, but maybe that’s part of becoming who you are meant to be but things are looking up good things are coming my way and for once in my life I feel like I deserve it, it’s okay to be me.

‘As long as you can smile, everything will be okay as long as you are breathing, everything will be okay one day at a time. Come back pending.’

Jack – who found fame on Love Island season four when he won with Dani Dyer – had been left homeless amid a fallout with his family after going to rehab for the second time earlier this year.

He previously explained he had a ‘selfish’ relapse into drinking and drugs that nearly killed him.

Jack, who received £32,000 of treatment at Rainford Hall, Merseyside, said he was struggling with life post rehab and backlash from family which has left him living in a hotel with his dog.

He said: ‘I tried living in Liverpool, unfortunately the person I lived with it just didn’t work out. I thought I’d be getting more support from people close to me that haven’t shown that support.

‘Listen I’m a 34-year-old man you can’t rely on your family all the time.’

‘One thing they told me in rehab and it’s true, you’re not gonna walk out of rehab to a red carpet rolled out for you because it’s stuff you should have been doing anyway.’

Jack explained that he hasn’t got ‘much left’ and is currently homeless and trying to figure out ‘what to do’ next as life ‘can’t get any worse’.

The reality TV star added: ‘In case anyone is wondering where I am, I’m staying a hotel with the dog. I’m just gonna reset and work out what to do and where I wanna live.

‘Got my beautiful dog Elvis, without him I probably wouldn’t even be here to be honest.’

Jack said he found leaving rehab ‘scary’ but thanked the staff for showing him, a ‘level of kindness I wasn’t used to for a while, I found it quite alien’.

Determined to get back on track, the TV personality said he is ‘starting from zero’ but looking to get back into acting.

Jack said: ‘There’s been a few struggles along the way and look I’m starting again from zero. I’m a very optimistic person and I just think it can’t get any worse than this.

‘I’m gonna do my acting and get back into TV work. I’m gonna do all the things I said I was gonna do.’
