Sophie Cunningham has had a hell of a year since signing with the Indiana Fever. The Indiana Fever guard saw her stock rise ever since she protected Caitlin Clark on the court.

Opponents have targeted Caitlin Clark since she turned professional, and Cunningham decided to take action. Clark was poked in the eye and shoved to the ground by Marina Mabrey in June. Cunningham took the role of enforcer quite literally later in the game. She caused a scuffle with the Connecticut Sun after a pretty blatant foul on Jacy Sheldon. Cunningham made sure a message was sent as she grabbed the hair and talked crap as players separated them.

She certainly had no fear since she was a black belt in the past. Her social media channels exploded as a result. She has been seen in commercials and has gained new opportunities as a result.

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is going viral again.

Her pregame outfits have become a major talking point over the past two years and one of her most significant moments occurred in 2024.

The WNBA secured a multi-year partnership with Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS brand in 2023. It made it the official underwear partner of the WNBA, NBA, and USA Basketball.

Sophie Cunningham celebrated this announcement by sharing photos of herself in SKIMS. It was originally posted last year, but X came across the picture again this week.

“As the official underwear partner of the WNBA, @skims is as comfortable as it gets,” Cunningham wrote.

Sophie Cunningham finished her first season with the Indiana Fever after suffering a season-ending injury. Cunningham was averaging 8.6 points and 3.5 rebounds in her first season with the Fever.

Indiana was missing a ton of players, which also included Caitlin Clark. Despite that, the team was just one victory away from advancing to the WNBA Finals.

Now, the question is whether Cunningham will be back with the team.
