Following a terrifying crash at the Winter Olympics, snowboarder Liu Jiayu was left stunned on the ground.
After the incident, the Chinese athlete was taken to the hospital immediately.

But before she received treatment Liu was left motionless on the snow after falling in the women’s halfpipe qualifiers.
Liu hit the surface hard after catching her board in the snow, and was flung across the snow.
She fell awkwardly and immediately stopped moving, lying still on the snow.
Music was also cut from the arena as spectators watched on in silence.
