WAS THE 2026 WORLD CUP FINAL PREDICTED YEARS AGO? A “TIME TRAVEL” PREDICTION FROM LAST YEAR IS JUST ONE MATCH AWAY FROM COMING TRUE… Following England’s defeat to Argentina, a bizarre post from 2021 has once again gone viral for accurately predicting both teams would reach the final. Now, with only predictions of the final score remaining to be verified, fans are wondering if this is the most unbelievable coincidence in World Cup history or something even stranger…

A “TIME TRAVELLER’S” prediction from 2021 could still become true after England’s devastating loss to Argentina last night.

The Three Lions’ World Cup dreams ended in Atlanta as they ceded a 2-1 defeat to the South American side on Wednesday night.

Argentina are now set to play Spain in New Jersey on Sunday and try to clinch their fourth World Cup victory.

Fans were left freaking out after a mysterious X post correctly predicted that Spain would be in Sunday’s final.

The post was first proved partially right when Luis de la Fuente’s side smashed the French threat with a 2-0 thrashing on Tuesday.

But after last night’s Argentinian victory, the post has now correctly predicted both teams in the final.

It also claimed to know the World Cup winners and the final score.

The post predicts Argentina will let in two goals, but will beat Spain to the title.

The X-user wrote on July 12, 2021: “Argentina just beat Spain at the 2026 World Cup final, 3-2.”

Fans were shocked by the post, with one replying: “How did he know?”

The five-year-old post first blew up after France were defeated by Spain on Tuesday night, but now Argentina are confirmed for the final, it’s one step closer to coming true.

It comes after another self-proclaimed time traveller’s prediction fell short.

A TikTok time traveller claimed in June that Mexico would win the World Cup after beating Argentina in the final.

Social media user Tona Multiverso claimed the co-host nation will beat the reigning world champions on penalties following a 1 – 1 draw.

He said Argentina would miss the final spot kick, resulting in Mexico becoming champions.

But England knocked Mexico out of the tournament at the co-host nation’s own Azteca stadium, proving that prediction wrong.

It comes after gloating Argentina fans set fire to England flags and waved around St George’s Cross coffins as millions celebrated their win in Buenos Aires.

The sacrilegious acts were among several vile stunts by the Argentines after government officials, fans and the players all made insulting gestures over the Falkland Islands.

Flares were set off as the streets were flooded in light blue – but some disrespectful supporters quickly took the celebrations too far.

The desecrated flags were then left in seriously charred heaps on the ground as thousands trampled over them.

Other images show a select few fans holding red and white cross cutouts depicting coffins.

Songs referencing the Falklands War, which claimed the lives of over 900 soldiers the UK and Argentina, were also chanted late into the night.
