Princess Beatrice’s husband took to his Instagram yesterday and posted a gushing message to his “phenomenal” wife. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who just days before failed to acknowledge their wedding anniversary online – something he normally posts about – uploaded some photographs on Saturday of himself and his wife to mark her 38th birthday.
This included a photograph of them dressed up by a beach, and one of them on the day of Peter and Harriet Phillips’ wedding this summer. He then posted two other relaxed selfies of them together in the sunshine. He captioned the post: “Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love you so much. You make our world (earth emoji). Love E,W,S,A xxxx.”
He put three pink heart emojis in the post’s caption.
The post comes after Edoardo, fondly known as Edo, did not upload anything on the couple’s sixth wedding anniversary this month.
This caught the attention of royal fans, as Edo usually posts a sweet message to his wife every year. The only exception to this was in 2022 on their 2nd wedding anniversary.
However, while the lack of an anniversary post from Edo may have concerned royal fans, this birthday post has delighted many, showing the world that the couple seem as loved-up as ever.

One royal fan responding to the sweet post wrote: “Beautiful couple.”
Another said: “You make such a beautiful couple!!”

It is not known how Beatrice spent her birthday this weekend. It is likely the princess enjoyed private celebrations with her husband and children, Sienna and Athena. It is also likely Edo’s son Wolfie would have been part of the celebrations for his stepmother.
Beatrice’s birthday comes less than a week after her sister Princess Eugenie gave birth to her third child in Portugal – a baby girl whose name is yet to be revealed. It is not known if Beatrice has flown to see her niece, but Edo did post heart emojis under Eugenie’s announcement post confirming the arrival of the new royal baby.
