Did Jeopardy! see another super champion in Tristan Williams? Fans hailed the data scientist‘s tenth game as “amazing.”

Williams, from Lincoln, Nebraska, comes into game 10 with a total of $188,501. On May 19, he played against Rose Sloan, from Boston, Massachusetts, and Sunil Hebbar, from Redondo Beach, California. Warning: Spoilers for the May 19 episode of Jeopardy! ahead.

Williams and Sloan, a computer science professor, were back and forth with the lead during the first half of the round. When Sloan found the Daily Double on clue 15, they were tied at $4,800.

She wagered $3,500 in “What’s Your Angle?” The clue was “The first word in the name of this simple machine implies an angle; the steeper the slope, the more force required.”

“What is an inclined plane?” Sloan answered correctly, giving her the lead with $8,300.

She remained in the lead at the end of the round with $9,900. Williams had $6,400. Hebbar, a physician, was in third place with -$1,000.

In Double Jeopardy, Habeer found the first DD on clue nine. He wagered the allotted $2,000 in “Country Facts.”

The clue read, “The Mau Escarpment is a rampart along the western rim of The Great Rift Valley in this country.” He correctly answered, “What is Kenya?” giving him $1,800.

Habeer found the last DD on clue 15. He had $2,600 and wagered all of his money. In “On Your Merry Way,” the clue was “There’s lively debate over whether the title of this 18th-century Christmas carol takes a comma & where.”

“I don’t have it,” he said. The correct response was “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen,” which dropped him down to $0.

Although Sloan was in the lead through most of the round, Williams moved into first place quickly after the Daily Doubles. He ended with $21,200.

Sloan had $16,700. Habeer ended with $800.

The category for Final Jeopardy was “20th Century Names.” The clue read, “Shunned by his religion when he went to study law in England, he met Christians who helped him awaken a ‘religious quest.’” Only one game show contestant got the answer right.

Habeer’s response was “Who is Lewis?” He wagered $799, leaving him with $1. Sloan answered, “Who is Hubbard?” which was also wrong. She wagered $4,501, making her final total $12,199.

Williams had the correct response of “Who is Gandhi?” He wagered $12,201, making his total $33,401.

Williams was now a super champion and had a 10-day total of $221,902. Tune in on Tuesday to find out if he keeps his streak alive.
