Rising country star Ella Langley delivered one of the standout performances during a star-studded television celebration honoring the life and musical legacy of Dolly Parton.

Langley’s televised rendition of Jolene was not her first musical tribute to Parton.
Shortly after the country icon’s passing on August 25, Langley performed the song during a hometown appearance in Alabama.
Wearing Auburn colors, she offered her own interpretation of the classic for the audience.
According to footage shared on TikTok, Langley explained that performing without acknowledging Parton would not have felt right.
The moment demonstrated the personal importance of Parton’s music to the younger singer, who has frequently expressed admiration for the legendary entertainer.

Seaver explained that he had been entrusted with making the announcement years earlier, although the responsibility remained deeply emotional when the moment arrived.
