Newlyweds Tom Holland and Zendaya had a sweet moment amid their Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour.

During an interview with SensaCine México posted on Friday, July 24, the couple shared a little PDA after being complimented on their professional careers together.

“I admire you both as co-workers. Everybody knows you as a couple or as individuals, but I think that you are amazing co-workers,” journalist Cristina Ibáñez told the pair, to which they responded with a heartfelt “thank you.”

Zendaya, 29, could then be seen placing her hand — adorned with her sparkling engagement ring — over Holland’s hand before giving the actor, 30, an affectionate squeeze. The pair then shared a brief smile.

Zendaya and Holland have shared many sweet moments over the past several months following the release of Spider-Man and the couple’s wedding, which Holland confirmed when he appeared on the cover of Esquire U.K. on June 16.

The pair famously first met when they costarred in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and went public with their romance in 2021. PEOPLE confirmed that they were engaged in January 2025.

Holland confirmed their marriage when Esquire U.K. asked him whether he had to inform family members about AI-generated images showing him and Zendaya supposedly at their wedding. The actor replied, “No, because they were all there.”

“That’s all you’ll get on that,” he added of their nuptials.

At the Rome, Italy, premiere of Brand New Day, Holland switched things up by using a different name for his wife. During the red carpet appearance, the actor called over to Zendaya with her middle name, Maree, while she spoke with a news outlet on the carpet.

“Maree!” Holland can be heard saying in the video, while the Euphoria star, whose full name is Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman, chatted with a reporter. “Yeah?” Zendaya responded.

The newlyweds also star opposite each other in The Odyssey. Zendaya plays the ancient Greek goddess Athena, and Holland portrays Telemachus, son of Matt Damon’s Odysseus and Anne Hathaway’s Penelope, in the new epic from Christopher Nolan.

When Holland sat down with Nolan, Damon and Hathaway to discuss the movie with PEOPLE, the British actor joked that he had to do a “lot of thinking” when Nolan, 55, first asked him to star in the movie as Telemachus.

“I sat down with Z and was like, ‘I’ve been offered this movie,’ ” Holland said of Zendaya.

“And she was like, ‘By who?’ And I was like, ‘It’s the big one.’ And she was like, ‘Chris?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, it’s Chris Nolan.’ ”

Holland continued, “Z said, ‘I’ll leave you if you don’t do The Odyssey,’ ” which had Nolan, Damon and Hathaway giggling as the director replied, “Well, thank you to her.”
