Meghan Markle’s latest As Ever video is packed with personal details, from Lilibet’s kitchen moment to a glimpse inside the Montecito home
Meghan Markle’s latest As Ever video may have been created to celebrate the growth of her lifestyle brand, but the montage offered followers something much more personal: glimpses of Princess Lilibet in the kitchen and garden, Prince Harry admiring a Christmas hamper, childhood photographs, a tribute to Doria Ragland and a nostalgic return to The Tig.
The Duchess of Sussex, 45, shared the video on Tuesday as As Ever opened orders for its first Christmas collection, which includes luxury wicker hampers priced at up to $200 (£150) and a £112 ($148) chocolate advent calendar.

Set to The Cranberries’ Dreams, the montage traced Meghan’s journey from selling lemonade and homemade scrunchies as an eight-year-old to building her current lifestyle business.
Along the way, however, viewers spotted several details that were easy to miss.
Lilibet’s kitchen appearance and the curious stove moment
One of the most intimate moments in the video features Meghan cooking with her five-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet.
The youngster is seen stirring a pot containing what appears to be an orange-colored fruit spread while Meghan prepares what looks like jam. Meghan asks her daughter, “What do you think Lili?”
“I think it’s beautiful,” Lilibet replies in an American accent.

The brief exchange gives a rare glimpse of mother and daughter working together in the kitchen, fitting neatly with the food-focused image Meghan has built around As Ever.
There is also a small detail that immediately caught the attention of eagle-eyed viewers: the gas beneath the pot Meghan is stirring does not appear to be switched on in the footage.
Whether the stove was simply off for that particular shot or the clip was staged after the cooking had finished is not explained in the video, leaving an apparent cooking mystery at the heart of the otherwise carefully assembled promotional montage.

Lilibet also makes a fleeting appearance as a beekeeper
The cooking scene is not the only glimpse of Lilibet.
In another short section of the video, she appears dressed in a white beekeeper’s suit, complete with a mesh veil, as she joins her mother around the family’s hives.
Meghan examines one of the hives and remarks, “It’s so full,” before turning around and asking, “Do you see Lili?”
Beekeeping has become a familiar part of Meghan’s life in Montecito. The hobby was also featured prominently in With Love, Meghan, and beekeeper Branden Aroyan previously described it as something the whole family had embraced. He said Harry, Archie and Lilibet all have their own protective suits and are fascinated by the bees.
The latest footage therefore offers another glimpse of a family activity that Meghan has previously incorporated into both her personal life and the As Ever brand.
A rare look inside the Montecito house
The montage also provides a fleeting view of the Montecito property Meghan and Prince Harry have called home.
One photograph shows Harry dressed casually in shorts and a T-shirt as he looks over the contents of one of As Ever’s new festive hampers.
Meghan sits nearby wearing black trousers and a matching tank top, with an early version of one of the Christmas hampers positioned in front of her.
Behind them, a large French window and pale pink walls offer a rare look at the interior of the house.
The glimpse comes as Meghan continues to draw on the California home and its surroundings for As Ever’s visual identity. The brand’s new holiday advent calendar, for example, was inspired by the Montecito property and garden, including details associated with the family’s California life.

Meghan’s message to her “squad”
The video also carried a clear message of appreciation for the people who have supported Meghan throughout her entrepreneurial journey.
In her caption, she addressed the readers of The Tig, affectionately calling them “The Tiglets,” before returning to one of the blog’s best-known ideas: “Behind every successful woman is herself.”
She then expanded on that thought by acknowledging “a community of love, a squad of support” and an “amazing team” behind her.
The wording prompted some users on X to interpret the reference to a “squad” as a nod to the Sussex Squad, the name commonly used for Meghan and Harry’s online supporters.
That interpretation came amid controversy surrounding the recently launched £112 ($148) As Ever advent calendar. British clergy members who criticized the product faced hostile responses online, with one vicar subsequently locking his X account after being targeted by supporters.
A new family portrait hidden among the candles
Another easily missed detail appears while Meghan showcases As Ever’s scented candles.
In the background is a black-and-white family photograph showing Meghan and Harry lying on the ground and laughing together. One of their children’s hands can be seen resting against Meghan’s face.
The photograph sits in a simple white frame on a dresser, providing another understated family touch within the home.
The candles themselves are connected to Meghan’s children. Two As Ever candles released as part of a Mother’s Day Edit earlier this year were named after dates associated with Archie and Lilibet.
Signature Candle No. 506 references Prince Archie of Sussex’s May 6 birthdate, while Signature Candle No. 604 pays tribute to Princess Lilibet’s June 4 birthday.
A quiet reference to With Love, Meghan
The montage also looks back at Meghan’s Netflix lifestyle series With Love, Meghan.
One image shows her opening a bottle of champagne during the first episode of the show’s second season, which featured celebrated cookbook author Samin Nosrat.
For the episode, Meghan wore a Carolina Herrera sundress priced at $2,490, along with a Lorraine Schwartz emerald-cut pinky ring and gold stud earrings.
With Love, Meghan ultimately ran for two seasons before Netflix decided not to continue the series. The second season premiered in August 2025, and the show later received a 2026 Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lifestyle Program.

Elizabeth Knapp’s words appear in the montage
Meghan also used the video to highlight the work of American poet Elizabeth Knapp.
A page from one of Knapp’s Did I Tell You books appears alongside an excerpt reflecting on the “growth and satisfaction” that comes from being part of something larger than oneself.
The page is held open with one of As Ever’s leather bookmarks.
The navy bookmark, introduced the previous month, carries the handwritten phrase “it only gets better” in Meghan’s own distinctive script. As Ever describes the item as a limited-edition leather bookmark crafted in the UK from Italian leather and finished with Meghan’s personal penmanship in gold foil.

The Tig returns to the spotlight
Perhaps the strongest thread running through Meghan’s video is her affection for The Tig, the lifestyle website she launched in 2014 while starring in Suits.
The blog became a personal project centered on food, travel, fashion, beauty and dining, allowing Meghan to share recommendations and personal reflections with readers. Its own archive described The Tig as a place built around her interests in food, travel, fashion and beauty.
Meghan closed the site in April 2017, but its influence can still be seen in As Ever.
In the new montage, she included an old clip of herself eating ten raspberries from her fingers in rapid succession, a playful reminder of the informal personality that characterized the blog.
She also thanked the community that grew around The Tig, referring to those readers as “The Tiglets.”
The name itself came from Tignanello, Meghan’s favorite wine, while the site eventually expanded well beyond food and travel. She wrote about feminism and philanthropy, shared recipes and beauty advice, offered travel recommendations and interviewed celebrity friends including Serena Williams and Priyanka Chopra.
Childhood memories behind the As Ever story
The video ends up being as much about Meghan’s early life as it is about her current business.
She has previously spoken about selling lemonade and homemade scrunchies as a child, experiences she now connects with the entrepreneurial path that eventually led to As Ever.
The montage includes several childhood photographs, including one that appears to have been taken during a skiing holiday. Young Meghan is bundled up in a lilac windcheater with pink faux-fur earmuffs, a bright purple scarf and thick gloves.
Another part of the montage revisits her memories of selling Girl Scout biscuits.
That childhood experience later became an inspiration for Cookie Queens, the documentary project about the longstanding American Girl Scout tradition.

A tribute to Doria Ragland
Meghan also brought her mother, Doria Ragland, into the story.
Among the photographs is a black-and-white image of the pair enjoying a snack together when Meghan was a baby. Doria is holding a bag of treats while her daughter reaches toward it.
The duchess also reshared a childhood photograph of herself with Doria and a group of other children. Meghan can be seen smiling and peeking around her mother, who was a Girl Scout troop leader, as the group poses together in Los Angeles.
The photographs give the montage a distinctly personal ending. Rather than focusing solely on As Ever’s products, Meghan uses the brand’s latest campaign to connect her present-day business with the people, interests and experiences she says helped shape it.
From childhood Girl Scout sales and The Tig to cooking with Lilibet, tending beehives and building As Ever, the video presents the brand as part of a much longer personal story.
